Is this service really needed? I love your list man, but in some cases; it can be rather ambiguous. I have this service currently set to disabled and have noticed no changes - good or bad. I have read on other sites/forums that the suggested and in some cases; highly recommended setting is - DISABLED. I really respect YOUR thoughts regarding all that is SERVICES related. I would sincerely appreciate your personal opinion on this service. I understand taking ANY action is solely my responsibility and in no way can you be held liable for however bad I fuck up my PC. BTW - I am using an HP Pavilion dv6308nr Entertainment Notebook PC (official nomenclature). It has Vista installed however; I have not yet "updated" it with SP1. Thanking you in advance for any information you might share regarding this matter.

I have not found any issues with it disabled in Vista.
