ANDREA RT Filters?
« on: October 16, 2008, 01:57:09 PM »
Have some software in Services area that am not sure what it is used for or if is really needed.  It is from 'ANDREA Electronics' and consists of four files three of which are *.dll files and one is an .EXE file.  Can anyone tell me what they are being used for?  Maybe if they are not really supposed to be there?

Excuse me if this is not appropriate for this area, just did not know where to go to ask.  Being just a user and not a Programmer or any other cute little named creature.  If this should be elsewhere then tell me 'where to go' for the correct place to post this question.

Andrea Electronics makes (Active Design) noise cancellation microphones used in Internet/Intranet, PC voice-computing, telecommunications and military applications. I assume that you installed something along that line.

JAC,

No, have not installed any of this type of software nor do I need it.  It seems that is OEM through Dell, because; that is the system type I have.  Inspiron D531S 2.3Gig, 3.0GigRAM X2 Dual Core Processor 64bit running Vista Home Premium SP1 32bit O/S.
Thank you for this reply and excuse my late response, just found this posting.  My system has been acting a little strange and I did some "work" on it and just managed to get back online.
