  Ok, I start with questions...
And be pacient with my english please... ::)

It is quite clear that you are saying that only if I have an HARDWARE firewall I can disable these services listed in the OP ("Original Page" in BV site about the service discussed here).
But for "software" firewall do you mean just the Windows one, or also third party ones as Comodo?
In other words, if I use Comodo, can I disable the BFE and these other services, while if I use Windows Firewall I must leave them? Or I must leave them with Comodo too?
And what do you mean when you say that you highly recommend to not disable the Windows Firewall?
I have just discovered that in Administrative Instruments (I am translating from italian) there is an advanced firewall where there are three different profiles, Domain, Private, and Public -which is the only one to be affected by changes done via Control Panel-, and I am disabling the three of them, as I was told that they are useless if I use Comodo... And I am also disabling the firewall from the Control Panel.
But, just in case, in Services I am leaving the Windows Firewall in Manual.
Am I doing well?
Is this what you meant?
Anyway I see that in your tweak config. you put this serv. in Automatic without specifying "started". Is it an "error", or it means that it does not start in your system? If so, why?

I do not use any 3rd party firewalls, so I am unaware if they would require BFE or not, but, yes, it is required for the built in Windows Firewall.
My recommendations reflect my feelings that no one should be connected to any WAN network (the internet) without a Firewall of some sort. Software or Hardware (recommended) is fine, as long as something is between you and the world.

Ok, thanks, I will ask in Comodo Forums and I will post here the answer, so that it will stay as a record for if someone else wonders about the same...  ;)

I tried disabling the Base Filtering Engine but AVG 8 complained that it's firewall needed it.
