Vista SP1 loss of functionality with some programs.

This link was posted in another forum I visit, it`s a list of programs that Vista SP1 doesn`t play nice with.

Well, that's good to know! Have you noticed any changes for the better? My biggest complaint is that it takes forever to copy files, though I found a fix that helped some.  In all honesty so far I've only had two programs that wouldn't work with Vista.

I have noticed a slight speed gain...very slight, and the copying issue has been resolved to my liking.

I think the only difference that I can see so far is that the GUI is much speedier if ya have the Vista Areo theme completely disabled. It previously took noticeable time to paint the GUI elements on my laptop, but it seems better now.

How do I disable the Aero thingy?
