setting up services profile for xppro sp2
« on: December 27, 2007, 09:14:03 AM »
Hi VP ,I set a gaming profile in severices, and i did it the way described on you configuration page. but when i boot up and click on profile1 [current], it don't change the services i stay in gaming profile, or visa_versa. Or do i have to disamble my gaming or profile1 in services then reboot .
I only have the 2 profiles, not like you show , profile1, gaming

Did you configure your services in each profile while booted up into them? Then reboot?

Did you ensure that you are in the "log on" tab and not using the "normal" method of adjusting services globally?
On any of the services, was the option available for "Manual?" If so, you are using the normal method and not the log on tab... as Enable and Disable are the only options there.

Hey VP , i am real sorry about taking your time, after reading your first reply i went back and tried again and figured out what i was suppose to to do. that was it, i was try to use the manual set up, along with the log on tab. i did this profile thing years ago and it just hit me what i was doing wrong.
