What was the error or issue?

That version is supported on XP and below. Have you tried installing it in XP compatibility mode?

Yes i went and tried it in windows copatibility and ran as admin but  it will go through the 1st two screens language and region then quit. I tried installing it on my old win xp machine and had no problems

I finally got it to install. I had to start in safe mode to get it to install. I tried to brose the cd and change the setup exe to run in compatabilty with xp and as admin with the normal startup it would get to the permission to run the exe and i would say yes and the install would stop. So tried it in safe mode and the install went without a problem. All is well.
