« on: November 17, 2009, 04:42:44 AM »
Hi
I have tried to stop a programe called "power iso" from starting up with windows with its own settings but it still starts up can you tell me how to access windows start up control so I can disable it from there.

Thanks

Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Run
Then type:
Code: [Select]
msconfigSelect the Startup tab and uncheck the desired program.

You might try Code Stuff Starter to control start up applications.  It is supposed to support all Windows 98 thru Vista.  I use it with WXP but have no experience of it with other OS.

There is also the claim for a 64 bit compatibility here.

Ccleaner also states what loads at start up, and where it's loaded from, ie. startup folder or a specific registry key.
