I have been using AVG Internet Security and Malware Bytes for the last 2 years. So far I have had go results. I use to use Zone Alarm Pro(by Grisoft) but the particular software allowed the  WinXP08 to attack my system. That was a real mess to get rid of as it duplicates various dlls with in your os registry. But I am always open to try other programs if I see enough positive testimonials from actual users and not paid testimonials just to promote a product.

I have to tell you that Microsoft security essentials is doing a good job, including catching and isolating a trojan during a download.  8)
