"Documents and Settings" does not exist. It is just an internal symbolic link to where the actual (W7) folder is (now stored) for older application compatibility. That is why, when attempting to browse to it, "access is denied" if you are "showing" hidden system folders.
Nothing is broken and you do not need permission to open it. :)

why can't I open the folders then? Please tell me how to open them I have little lock icons on those system folders and can't open them.

Ok I got it BUT. These are my folders in Documents and Settings. Where are now?
These directories (folders) don't actually exist any more. If you go to the Command Prompt and enter the command "dir /a" at the directory in question, you will see that these are junctions and only exist for backward compatibility. The real location is displayed after the junction. For example, "Documents and Settings" is a junction for "C:\Users".
