Network Location Awareness (NLA)
« on: October 29, 2009, 11:27:00 AM »
I have a quick question on NLA.

In the tweaked setting for Win7 you have it enabled while the services that seem depend on it are disabled.

Under xp I always had this service disabled.

If the services that need it are disabled why isn't this service also disabled?
I have not yet disabled it just in case it is needed for something important.

Other than that the tweaked settings make sense so far and saved about 100mb ram for my win7 pro 64bit machine. Yep everything I need still works!

HomeGroup still needed it in my testing, but I will be banging it around much more to break things as soon as I can.
