slow cancelling when copying with win7 / vista - USB flash drives

1. start copying 2GB to USB flash drive
2. after 30 secs click <cancel>

takes long time to cancel the copy in W7 & V
less than 10 secs in XP

also less when using teracopy, beyond compare

even fastcopy takes long time to cancel.
