"Coming to everyone" should be quantified as "Retail ready release" for those that purchase W7 Pro, Ultimate or Enterprise... not for those "everyone" that is getting Starter or Home editions.

With that said, "Windows Virtual PC" can be used on W7 Home editions and above, you will just have to supply your own legit version of XP (or Vista or whatever).

I forgot to mention another (very) important factor: "Hardware Virtualization" is required to be on the CPU either from Intel or AMD. A big chunk of PC's out there do not have it, regardless if your system can actually run W7 or not.

No, it is still going and intended/OEM marketed for netbooks (see also Atom powered systems).
32-bit only.
