Video Card Selection

I currently have a nVidia Geforce 8800 GT 512MB video card that I am wanting to swap out.  It has been a pretty rock solid card, but I want a better performing card with a decent price...preferably nVidia, but I am not closed to other brands at all.  It is the only piece of hardware preventing my Windows 7 rating from reaching over 7.1

Any suggestions?

260 is good performance for price. I recently purchased one of these:

That is exactly the upgrade my brother did...8800GT to 260.  Woop!

8800GT + 9800gtx2 :')
dual gpu, both work perfectly.
