I.E.8 vs I.E.8 x64

I noticed I have both of these browsers as an option.  What's the difference between the two?  BTW, I am running Vista Home Premium Edition x64

64 bit IE versions are crippled due to many plugins not having 64-bit capability. I have ranted about this before, so I will not get into it here. :P

It's faster, but as BV said, not having many basic plugins (especially no flash) cripple it to very basic use if any at all.
