Do you have - or can make available - scripts which set-up the services as you described (default, safe, tweaked)?
That would be just great!

Yes, I will offer up registry files as well as SC.bat files upon release of Windows 7. I do not do them in advance for Beta and RC products as it creates a large amount of additional work for me.
Do not worry, though, as after release, I will offer them. :)

BV EDIT: I have often kicked around the idea of doing it ahead of time, but I will have to see if I can get Vista SP2 information finished as well as the PDF files created before I look into it further. I know it is a popular feature and it will not be ignored, I am just trying to avoid a large quantity of additional work for a "RC" product. Stay tuned, due to popular request, I may publish them early. :)
In a round about way, it may even save me some time after release (because people want the information on day 1) if I finish, at least, the Ultimate registry files now. I will think about it. :)

Windows Seven RTM "Build 7600" is now out for OEM such as Dell, HP... so it's also available on the Internet. I'm using it right now and it's all perfect on 64bit unless MSN 9.0 that won't work for me, strangely. Anyway, just saying that there's now no need to wait for the retail realease in the end of October so you could already start doing it since it's now possible. I understand now wanting to work too much on a "RC" product.

I'm very looking forward to your preset/scripts. It was a must-have for anybody using WinXP or Vista.

Yes, I have an MSDN subscription, so I already have them anyway (August 6th) legitimately. However, my goal is to have my information ready by "retail release" or "general availability" and not "as soon as it is humanly possible" as it takes time.
As a side note, refrain from speaking about pirated software on my forums. It is a fairly fast way to get banned.

It is not taking me as much time as I had originally anticipated to get the tools online. It still will be a few more days, but they will be done, probably, before October and maybe even next week. Don't hold me to that, though. :)

It's really cool that unlike many other people, that at least you keep giving us updates on where you are at.. no matter if it's good or bad so at least we are aware of what's going on :)

Oh, I thought you already had the (Default.reg) and that you were gonna put up the Safe and/or Tweaked preset this weekend. Well that's still much better than nothing mind you though most people will prolly be too lazy for the "Do it yourself tool" and are gonna wait for the presets ^^ Keep the good work.

No, I have to do the tools first. That is what takes the time. :)
I may get safe posted for all of them early tomorrow morning, but chilling (literally, it is cold here all of a sudden) for right now.

I am going to wait a few more days on posting the Safe registry files as I would like to make one more run through all the services to get them to where I want them to be before release date.
