Remove Sharing
« on: July 01, 2009, 07:57:17 PM »
Hi, BV,

I cannot set my stand alone to no sharing. Somehow the Network discovery is on and sharing.. I only want public and no other user, etc.

Vista Home Prem Sp1,Outpost FW free, Avira 2009, Spyware Terminator, cable connection.

Thank you.

Public is sharing on a particular level, though and will essentially give access to all users. What are you trying to accomplish?

I had set up my profile with no network discovery and no sharing.  Somehow I cannot change the radio button to stop sharing or network discovery.  Note says I can change settings through my firewall- Outpost free. How?
THX in advance.
