Microsoft Hardware drivers
« on: June 08, 2009, 09:52:47 PM »
Microsoft has posted Win7 32- and 64-bit drivers for their branded hardware on the hardware web site. For instance: IntelliType Pro for keyboards and IntelliPoint for mice; I did spot other devices listed.

Installed IntelliPoint 7.00.204.0 on my #2 system running Win7 RC. Mouse is IntelliMouse Explorer - detected and software installed ok. :D

Installed IntelliType Pro 7.0 on my #2 system with Win7 RC. Keyboard is Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro - not listed as a selectable item during setup - Cancel selected. :'(

Verified software removed from Program Files.

Decided to try IntelliType Pro version 5.50.661.0 which had worked on XP Pro - would not install compatibility issues. Cancelled setup. :-\

Both of these Microsoft hardware drivers have been updated to final versions - get them at Microsoft hardware.
