Application Experiance Service
« on: March 23, 2009, 04:02:23 PM »
You state you have experienced no side effects from disabling this service but currently there are some minor side effects and this should be left on manual for majority of users. Disable this service and try unzipping a folder then entering the folder then going back and deleting it. either you must wait a short duration as it will give you "you do not have permission to edit this folder" or you must delete the files within the folder first then it will allow you to delete the folder itself. Some other side effects is saving certain files to the desktop will generate the same error with firefox or IE8. it will not always do this sometimes it will allow the file to be saved but majority of the time it would generate the error.

Does not happen with Vista (at least, I have not been able to easily recreate it).

Probably a bug with the current build of Windows 7.
