APC Powershoot Personal Edition 2.2
« on: March 04, 2009, 07:11:29 AM »
Looks as though APC Powershoot Personal Edition 2.2 (for Vista) works fine in Windows 7 using an APC Back-UPS XS 1500.
Rockin. :)
BV EDIT: added what UPS I was using... :P

Looks as though v2.2 of APC PCPE is checked off for 32 and 64-bit versions.

You will need to select PowerChute Personal Edition and All Operating Systems (W7 is not a choice), then the following file will be available for download )this is not the driver, just compatibility list.

As for v2.2, it still states Vista compatible, and not W7, but oh well I guess. :P

;D Yep, I can verify this, at least in 32 bit. I'm still waiting on my 64 bit master computer, holding out to get the latest ATI vid card. Anyway, installed the Vista version and it didn't work at first, got out the manual for my XS 1500 and pressed the buttons on the display, checked again and powershoot is working, says I have 53 minutes of backup time.
