Diagnostics Policy Service
« on: January 08, 2009, 05:57:49 AM »
I recently started getting the message that my Diagnostics Policy Service isn't running. When I try to start the service, I get Error 5: Access Denied. What do I need to do to get this service started again?

I only noticed the problem because the NIC card in my computer died and I am trying to install a wireless NIC card so that I will be able to access the internet again. Who knows what else isn't running that is supposed to be! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you using XP? Even though this is in the XP section, I have to ask because I was unaware this service was available, even as an optional download (of which I do not cover on my pages) for XP, but it is installed by default on Vista.
