Can't Say Much...No Problems

I know that BV has put these forums up for discussion about certain aspects of the various flavors of Whin-ders, but in all honesty, by using BV's hints, tips, tricks, and suggested configurations, I have had my system up and running 24/7 for well over a year without any major problems.

Using BV's suggestions, I cut down my overhead to just 24 services running in the background.  4 of these I installed and run myself.....the other 20 are evidently required by windows due to the way I have the OS set up.

So, from what I can see, users would be well off using BV's advice and counsel when it comes to setting up and maintaining their systems.

Me....I'm a very happy puppy and very thankful that there are people out here in geekdom like BV.  Without such people we'd all be fumbling around with crashing systems.

So, this bud's for you BV.  Thanks for all you do.

I have relied on BV's service configs for years.  In fact swear by them.
I am always turning people on to the site and offering my help as learned from everything I have learned from BV.

Simply put, BV is the Merlin of XP and seems to be on his way to also achieving that title for Vista! ::)

thanks for the servie configs - I too am down to just 12 services running at idle, and never had a windows related problem - thanks for your efforts!
