lsass.exe system error object not found

Hi all,
after i tune up my services following black viper`s guide i?ve got this error
lsass.exe system error object not found.
I?ve narrowed it down to the Protect Storage service,wich everytime i try to start gives me the same error.
Hope someone can give a little help,because the windows update doens`t work because of this i think!!!
I?m on xp sp3.
