3d Party Utility: Process Manager
« on: November 05, 2008, 03:37:15 AM »
OK, I'm lazy.  I'm in search of a third party utility. I want one that automates a lot of the labor inherent in re-tagging and sorting through my ever changing mountain of startup services.  Ideally, I want one that carries the information in BlackViper's Services Information within its algorithm.

Is anyone aware of a well-written program that could do what I'm asking and save me some time?

Thanks for reading.  Take Care.

OK, I just found and have been studying BV's Service Registry Patch for WinXP SP3.  Need I look further?

Being in the lion's den, I wont ask which is better.  But which list is more conservative/safe and which more liberal/risky between Black Viper's and Bleeping Computer's?

I don't know as I only use my configurations. :)
But the listings under "safe" on my site is just that. If you want "risky," that is "bare bones," but I do not recommend it to just anyone. Use safe first and see what happens. If all is well, reduce further until you get to your own "sweet spot."
Each system and user is different.

Not possessing a skillset that even borders on "IT", I will stick with safe.  Thanks for your reply and for all your effort across the years.
