CD Drive

Today i placed a blank DVD into my cd drive and it said "format" i clicked this. for some reason my cd drive now appears as ....DVD RW  Drive (E:) Toshiba.  How can i fix this ?

Uh, ok... you put a DVD into a CD drive? Well, you cannot do that. :)
Since it gave the option to format, I have to assume that you do not have a standard CD drive and in fact it is a DVD RW drive.
Is it actually a Toshiba DVD rewritable drive? Then, if so... nothing is broke?

Well, is it a CD drive or a DVD drive?  Uninstall it from Device Manager, and the restart the PC.
