Problem with Wired Autoconfig and IEEE 802.1X Authentication
« on: October 20, 2008, 10:45:08 AM »
Hi,

I am having a bizarre problem with my desktop computer. I am using a network with IEEE 802.1X authentication, but suddenly it stopped working. All my settings has been erased, and I can't access the Authentication menu for the network connection. The problem is that after activating the Wired Autoconfig service, the authentication tab still does not appear. I've successfully connected to the network with my laptop, so the problem lies within my desktop computer. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?  ???

Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you checked for the presence of spyware/viruses?
